When making account changes, such as adding a new bank, I recommend ensuring you're logging in from one consistent device with your location services turned on. If you receive any error messages, try clearing your cache and cookies or attempt with a different browser. If you are using the website, try our PayPal Mobile App or vice versa. If you receive an error stating, "This card or bank cannot be added, " that usually means the bank isn't compatible with PayPal. If it's a little more generic, then it's likely our Security System, and allowing 48-72 hours between attempts might sort it out. If you've tried all of these steps, including allowing 48-72 hours, please don't hesitate to reach out to Customer Support if you still can't add the bank.
