I had a similar Problem. I bought a bag, advertised as 100% genuine leather. It arrived, a cheap plastic piece of rubbish, stamped 100% leather. Seller claims it is leather but I can return it for 12€ fee. While in dispute about this, PayPal closed the case as I hadn’t sent the item back. I have tried to re open a case in the resolution centre but do not have the option to do so. I bought a bag from Monaur a month ago. The bag was actually fraudulently advertised as being leather but it is a very cheap and nasty plastic bag. They finally agreed to refund me if I returned the bag and agreed it was in condition. I do not trust that the seller will admit to receiving the bag and also I do not wish to incur FURTHER expense in returning it at my cost. I have requested that the seller either sends a shipping label or a courier to pick it up and I will be glad to return it although I suspect that this would cost more than the bag’s value. I would like to be refunded in full. And not refunded minus the cost of returning the bag.   However paypal now say that my case has been closed in the seller's favour as I have not provided shipping information to show that I have returned the bag.   I suspect that they haven't actually looked into the case.   I cant reopen the case for some reason, it says I have the option to do so but then cannot. And I don't see any other way of contacting Paypal directly.   Im sure this must be a pretty common occurrence as the internet is awash with fake and counterfeit goods.
