Welcome to the PayPal Community! I'm sorry to hear you're running into some confusion with your account settings. If you've checked your settings and do not see the email on file, I would recommend reaching out to our Customer Support to see what the issue may be.
You may also want to double check if the emails are coming from the merchant or PayPal. If they're coming from the merchant, the email address in question may be registered there as well.
