PayPal accepted my $1000 payment and is not applying it to my balance. I paid off my balance and the money cleared my bank account on 11/14 but PayPal will not apply it to my credit balance and it has been over a month. I’ve talked to several agents from the span of 11/17-12/20. No matter how many times they have escalated the account, the balance isn’t rectified. I’m not sure what to do anymore and is deciding pursuing small claims. They literally took my money and is keeping it hostage. I also recently received a refund from old navy for 40.28, they applied 39.99 to my fake balance and is asking me to accept .29 cents! I can’t even do that because it’s under the amount to be issued a credit card. PayPal owes me 13.98 plus that .29 cents they are holding. The most infuriating thing is they took my $1000 payment and refuses to apply it to my balance to show it is paid off. Now they are saying I owe them money. Has anyone experienced this with PayPal?
