PayPal Community

This is beginning to become a problem. I have linked both my debit card and the bank account that said debit card is connected to to my paypall account.   However instead of being taken to the "Add funds" page (where you put the two random deposits and then add  the ammount to add to the account) I'm taken to the "Add bank account" page (where it asks for the bank routing number and the checking account number)   I HAVE recieved the email sent from paypall to confirm the account, however this email was accidentally discarded as spam and deleated. I know i can get a paypal card or link to my credit card/bank account to lift the limits. But there's no way my parents are going to trust the internet anytime soon, let alone let me spend MY money how I want to. X_X they control 80% of what I'm allowed to do with money that I get/earn on my own. -_-;; Anyway if I were to Withdraw my money, cancel my account, and restarted an account with the same email adress, would that reset the spending limits to zero? ... Why does paypall think I've spent 130 already? there is no way that all my transactions added up to that much. And why exactly does paypall NEED my bank account to 'lift' limits per month? Especially since this is a free service... ... View more
