@TinaSparkles1 Since it’s only an email and no charge appearing in your PayPal account, forward the email to phishing@paypal.com and delete it. I would also clear browser cookies and cache, too. Very smart you did not call the number because that reaches the scammer so they can talk you out of more money and your details.
