Like you, I do not want this bogus transaction left pending on my account, inviting even-the-remotest-possibility of accidental confirmation simply by being there. Unlike you, I am not even afforded a 'Cancel' button for the transaction when on the 'Activity' webpage for my account. Beyond that, upon attempting in the Resolution Center to 'Report a Problem,' with that transaction selected, I am only given an error message reporting, "Unable to complete your request" -- which is HIGHLY unsatisfactory. It is unacceptable simply to report to me, "We’re sorry, you can’t file a case on this type of transaction." Because of PayPal's failure to offer such an option to either 'Cancel' or 'Report Fraud' on a pending invoice, the instructive information on PayPal's webpage, "https://www.paypal.com/us/smarthelp/article/FAQ2422" is incorrect, in answer to the question, "How do I report potential fraud, spoof or unauthorized transaction," because following the instruction there results in the above error message from PayPal. PayPal ought to offer a "Report Fraud" option that results in the REMOVAL of the pending invoice from one's account, and which alerts PayPal's staff to deal with the issue and look for and resolve the problem for any broader set of customers that may have the same issue.
