It has happened to hundreds of PayPal customers and is still ongoing. I've had 19 transactions (small amounts) starting from Nov23 to May24... PayPal closes your dispute without any notification within 24hrs stating "Thank you for reporting this case. After our review, we found that certain transactions weren't unauthorised and hence weren't eligible for Buyer Protection". You cannot raise a dispute again for the same transactions or escalate further... As you can see from the forum page 438 people had this problem (reported). This fraudulent activity is still ongoing and affecting hundreds of PayPal customers. PayPal had a data breach 2022 and thousands of customers account information was accessed. Paypal needs to address this issue and reimburse all parties affected... We use PayPal as it is meant to be secure!!
