Thank you for the comment. I went back to my bank and looked and it had cleared. The person said they received the money today but said that Paypal told her, when she called, that the money was actually sent by Venmo. My gut feeling is that maybe she just missed it in her paypal account by accident, as she was gathering money from a group of people.
