Yep, we are start receiving the IPN messages. I think they fixed it? Just don't be happy too soon. They fixed it a few days ago then it happened again. Some of our IPN messages retries now have HTTP Status code 500 eventhough our IPN Listener is fully operational. Code 500 means they tried to call a thing that is not exist. This is a strong indication that their internet route configuration is faulty, and it possibly happen with only a group of servers or a range of IPs, in certain timeframe. Fixing internet route configuration is for a large scale service such as PayPal is not an easy task, unless they have a large group of dedicated engineers. According to their maintenance schedule: https://www.paypal-status.com/maintenance/production They will be doing some maintenance works on 6th of October, starting from 3:00 till 12:30 UTC. I guess they will fix this issue on that day (I hope), which means we will have to fight with orders manually at least till that time. ... View more

@statk192 at least you got most of your transactions went alright, which is far much better than what we have. I haven't received any IPN message since last 24 hours (almost). Does anyone know or able to tag the admin of the community to this post? ... View more

@Arma76 according to PayPal's doc, IPN messages will only be retried 15 times. After that, you may have to handle the IPN on your own.  ... View more

I hope they will fix it soon (well at least, don't be too late). I created a ticket with them but all I got from them till now is just an email stated that they are aware of the issue and are working on it. No ETA for the fix at all, maybe in the next few hours? few days? or even weeks? I don't know but this is creating a lot of difficulties for us and it's making PayPal checkout become absolutely not usable at the moment. ... View more

I'm having exactly the same issue with you. Looking at the logs, it actually started on 2nd of October but with us, 100% of IPN messages went through even PayPal IPN history displays them as retries. Starting 3rd of October, large amount of IPN messages did not go through (still a very small number went through with status Sent). Late 3rd of October till now, no IPN messages go through. @pvanthony nope, I don't think so. If that's the case, then we would receive most of the IPNs normally, because most of our payments are in USD. Meanwhile, in the last 12 hours till now, we have not yet received any IPN message from PayPal. ... View more

@ultramoo welcome to the table, how long have you been encoutering this issue? We first saw it on 29th of September but the issue last for 12 hours. This times, it's already 2 days since its beginning and we are still fighting manually with hundreds of IPNs. ... View more
