I just made a purchase on the 'bay for a decent amount of money using Paypal, and split it with the pay in four plan. About half an hour later, I received an automated call from paypal regarding the transaction. It was for the exact amount I just made on the 'bay, and not some random press 2 for service. I am leaning that it's not a scam but it is just odd that I would receive this kind of phone call. My bank sends a text asking if I made a payment with my card when I use foreign web sites. Is this more of the same? The transaction is up on my paypal dashboard so I'm up in the air.
