Thanks for your advice Harley, This issue is now resolved (after3 months) although it was a convoluted process involving my bank, Google and Paypal. I discovered that PayPal was not at fault and had not limited my account. The payment failure notice I got was not from them and further investigation revealed over $500 had been removed from my bank account without my authorisation. I have since been refunded that money and have clamped down on information I share with Google. We live and learn. Thanks again for your response and my apologies for the late response.
