I am currently unable to receive money on my Paypal account from another Paypal user. When they attempt to send me a transaction, they get the error "Sorry, this payment can't be completed due to regulations." For reference, my PP account has several cards connected on it, but all of them are mastercard. I know that you need either a visa credit card or a US bank account to receive transactions. But I very recently connected a US bank account (managed by Wise) and successfully confirmed it on my PP. I thought that would bypass the need for a visa card. Was I mistaken? For further context, the sender is a US citizen, while I am an Egyptian citizen. If that makes a difference. The bank info I connected is entirely a US bank, though.
