Thanks Bindu. Unfortunately 'waiting until a few days later' isn't a realistic option in most cases. Also, that sounds very arbitrary, the algorithms either accept or reject, the risk is the same whatever the day. Also the card in question is a Mastercard-based debit card so the funds are present, and neither is it the first time I've made a payment through Paypal to this person. Anway, I paid by different means but as an expensive service this unexplained rejection isn't great from a customer standpoint. Thanks
