In trying to make a purchase by PayPal, I was confronted with a rigmarole of "verification". This involved receiving a code by phone call. I do not use phone due deafness (not uncommon amongst octogenarians) so I abandoned and paid by card. How can I avoid this unacceptable none-sense with PayPal other than paying by a more acceptable means? Is it time for me to abandon what has become user unfriendly PayPal (which used to be quick, easy, user friendly way of paying)?
