I created a new PayPal account and minutes later it was "restricted". Basically, the account is useless. The reason is "suspicious activity on the bank account linked to the PayPal account". How come? I did not even linked any bank account yet. The only way to remove the restrictions is to provide bank statements from the linked account, but that is impossible: NO bank account has been linked yet! Now I just want to close my PayPal account, but I can't because the account has restrictions. Is this a PayPal joke on new account holders? This is all so ridiculous! Sorry for my rant and my simple question is: does anybody know how can I close the account? I just don't want it anymore.
