Someone used my email address to sign up for Paypal and Paypal don't care. Since it's a gmail address and the dots are different in the one used, they won't accept that I own the address. No idea what to do about it and it means I can't add the address to my Paypal account. Their security is abysmal if they can still set up an account when I deleted the verification email without opening it. Any idea what I can do as the owner of the new Paypal account obviously doesn't have access to my Gmail so won't receive any messages they send?
