Recently I received a regular transfer from a friend and PayPal decided to place that money on Hold. It is understandable at a point but now I am unable to use that money because "they notice activity in my account that is inconsistent with their User Agreement". I need assistance because I have been using PayPal for almost a year now and it had never happened to me. It is unacceptable that PayPal uses "their" system as a method to detect inconsistent activity. Now they are telling me that I need to wait 180 days to use MY MONEY. I really need to have this situation escalated because they are playing with our time and our money. I also decided to call the customer service phone line and my experience was the worst.
