I was charged a $12 fee which was deducted from the total amount ($290) sent by a friend in the US to me in the UAE. Haven't got a clue why this fee was charged to me and the PayPal app/website are both extremely unhelpful in figuring out why I was charged this fee. Would appreciate if someone can help clarify.
