Hello @Slybillyboy68,  Thanks for posting on the Community.  All refunds on PayPal are processed back to the payment method that was used. If an American Express card was used to make the payment, you'll need to contact American Express. The refund will still be directed back to them. Typically, they will redirect the payment towards any new cards you have opened with them.
