I am at least a ten-year member with no complaints. I use my account to purchase, not to sell. I found that my account is frozen, a few days ago. I reported the problem to Customer Service, twice, last week. Their solution was to change my password. Twice, I changed my password, at the CS staff's behest. Both passwords were accepted by the Paypal application. However, I still have no access to my account. I had heard that Paypal randomly freezes accounts, for a period of time, but after at least a decade of stellar service, I did not beleive it. Now, it happened to me! It appears that the application can't verify that the account is mine. During discussions with CS staff, I answered routine biographical questions, such as identifying an old address, among several my email addy. identifying my professional license, among several, and the number on my debit card. I am still locked out. I either need acces, or I need information re: the best alternative to Paypal. Thanks! I have also reported this to Paypal Support on Twitter, and to the Paypal CEO.
