@vd_skyrunner Sorry, PayPal no longer refunds their fees for any reason. But all is not lost, you paid tuition for a lesson learned. Be more careful, don’t rush when sending payment next time because mistakes costs money. Your sender does not set your payment type for you. Each account sets their own defaults. If you yourself last sent out a friends and family payment, then of course the next time it will default to friends and family but you are still responsible for ensuring the payment is correct before finalizing payment. By what you describe of your payment process you did indeed send a goods and services payment. Friends and family payment don’t have option to provide a shipping address because you're not selling anything.
