OK, for weeks I've been struggling to access my PayPal account. The phone number associated with it is no longer valid so I cannot pass the verification and contact Customer Support either.   Some fellow members here suggested trying opening a new account, then request shutting down an existing one. So how this works exactly; do you simply use the "Sign Up" option and follow the steps? Would the system allow me to enter the same information (name, email, bank, cards) as before if my old account is still active? I haven't used it for several years now so I'm not certain about its current status, though I surely don't have any disputes or something like that.   It is important for me to know will I be able to use the same information for a new account; I'm forced to try to close an existing one only because I cannot access it without the phone verification over the now inactive phone number.   Thank you kindly for your input on this. ... I have an identical situation here. Can't access my account due to an obsolete phone number (verification) and I can't send an email or a message to Customer Support without being logged in first. Been struggling with this for two weeks now. The only thing I haven't tried yet is to open a new account with the same information, but I'm guessing this won't work either... I can't believe that there isn't a way to send a simple email to PayPal customer support. I've browsed through countless posts about this problem and apparently there was a way to contact them as a guest once. However, the only option I'm offered is to change my password, which doesn't lead me anywhere... I'm even thinking about opening a Twitter account just to contact PayPal about the invalid phone number that doesn't allow me to log in. I've tried changing my password at least five times, using different browsers, even installing an app on my mobile phone, but I'm still unable to verify my identity due to the now obsolete phone number that I registered a long time ago. I'm (desperately) trying to reach PayPal Customer Support by sending an email or message, but the system doesn't allow me this without being logged in first. I don't have Facebook nor Twitter account and I'm reluctant to try reaching Customer Support over the phone, unsure about the possible cost (I'm from Croatia).   Is there a simple email form somewhere that I could use to get in touch with Customer Support? Some people claim that it is possible to email PayPal as a guest but sadly this doesn't seem to apply in my case. ... View more

I have the same problem - I can't pass the verification due to an invalid phone number.  I'm trying to find a way to send an email or message to customer support, but this seems impossible if you can't log in (at least for me).  I don't use social networks and I'm reluctant to use a phone number due to possible costs. Hello again. Can someone please help me with this? I'm moving in circles for a week now. I cannot believe that there isn't a straightforward way to send an email to Customer Support if you are not able to log in.   I've tried almost everything else. I've changed my password several times, tried using different browsers, etc. Each time, the system asks me to do a verification using the phone number I no longer have access to. I've read countless threads on similar problems but nothing works for me so far. Some people claim that it is possible to email or message PayPal as a guest, but I'm still asked for phone verification if I try this. Hello!   I'm having problems logging into PayPal. The phone number associated with my account is no longer valid so I cannot pass the verification. The only thing I'm able to do at this point is to change my password, which I did a few times, but I'm still unable to confirm my identity due to an obsolete phone number.   I need to contact PayPal customer support about this, but I'm uncertain on how to proceed. This is my first time trying to reach them. I don't use social networks and I'm reluctant to try making a phone call, unsure about the applicable fees. (My only option is to use a mobile phone registered in Croatia to make the call.)   For days now, I'm trying to find a way to contact PayPal with a message or email, but this seems impossible without being logged in first - which I can't do, as explained before. Can someone please guide me in the right direction? Is there a simple email form somewhere that I can use to get in touch with Customer Support?   P.S.
