I was transferred money in error (the individual entered an incorrect email address). It was a goods and services payment therefore a sellers fee applied. I had no issue with refunding the payment however I wanted assurance from the seller that I wouldn't be liable for the sellers fee, my research indicated I would be and she could not provide this assurance therefore I escalated it to paypal as a dispute for resolution. The seller raised a 'did not send item' claim against me (despite there being no item!). I am therefore now being charged a £12 dispute fee and she has received a full refund. In my mind this is theft! When I try to appeal, I fit into none of the categories in the resolution centre as it incorrectly assumes there is an item outstanding. Can anyone help or provide a contact number for the resolution centre?
