For the first time as a member of PayPal, I was charged a fee when transferring ("withdrawing") some of my balance to my bank account whereas prior to this PayPay charged no fee for this type of transaction. When transferring some of my balance, PayPal directed me to a new entity called XOOM and they charged me a €2.99 fee for the single transaction. Here's the anomoly - PayPal states there is no fee when transferring ("withdrawing") money from one's balance and I quote .... "Withdrawing money: You can withdraw money from your PayPal account to your bank account at no cost. For an overview of all fees, log in to your PayPal account and click Fees at the bottom of any PayPal page." Also, there appears to be no "Fees" section at the bottom of my page. Will PayPal please clarify their position regarding fees for transferring/withdrawing balances? Will PayPal please explain why they introduced Xoom? Stuart (23rd January 2021)
