I live partly in US & partly in UK. My primary account is in USD. For over 10 years I have used instant withdrawal to transfer USD to my USD US bank account. This was suddenly stopped, my US bank account disappeared so my only option is to do standard withdrawals which charge me an extra 3%. I have complained about this numerous times and each time a different person replies and does not understand the problem. They blame my US bank, but I have double checked with the bank and there is no problem receiving Paypal transfers. One rep. said he would reinstate my bank account, but this was not guaranteed!!! I have asked 4 times for a supervisor to phone me; NO response. They tell me they do not want to charge me the extra 3%, but cannot/will not reinstate my USD bank account. I'm now looking at alternatives to Paypal as I cannot afford to pay them about 3.9% then another 3%. Anyone else had this problem? Do Paypal monitor these messages?
