All, I'm a little new to this. I have a Booking.com client that wants to book my unit 3 months in advance. Authorizations look like they go out 30 days. 1) Do pre-authorizations go out 30 days? Do they cost money if I cancel it? 2) Dumb question but what is a preauthorization used for anyways? I have seen these at rental car companies but I have never had a problem where anything happened and I got it back. Is it like security deposit?
