Hello, after multiple calls to various employees of paypal i thought i would try and reach out to the community for advice.   just over 2 months ago i sold a trading card through ebay for around £500, everything went through fine, customer messaged me thanking me for it being packaged well and exactly as described etc. Forward on to nearly 7 weeks later and i see a message in my inbox from paypal saying the customer has sent the card off for assessment and he has been told it is fake! I have been selling trading cards for 25 years and no 100% when cards are genuine or not so i obviously disputed the claim, i asked for calarification on two things   1) who had graded/assessed card 2)why it had taken 6 weeks when the purchaser stated to me that they sent it off for grading immediately upon receipt.   the reason i asked these questions is that i have had 100s if not 1000s of cards graded over the years so i will know if it has been reviewed by someone in the trade, and 6/7 weeks is too long a time, some companies review cards and grade them before sending so it is plausible that this is what happened but i have sent around 150 cards out through this pandemic and i have had my rough grade result within 4/5 weeks every single time, so something did not add up, also if these were sent away for gradin then the turn around currently is 5/7 months not weeks. i heard nothing back from paypal or the buyer and the case was ruled in their favour, i recieved the card and it was exactly as i sent it and in same condition but a cheaper pro card holder, however the card is 100% genuine! I have rang paypal over this and they said all i can do is raise a complaint? my issue is this-   I have had a fraudulent claim made against me, i have paid for ebay fees and postage which are non refundable because ebay would not enetertain it after 30 days, so what do i do? paypal would only refund me postage in an act of good faith, the card is not fake and paypal have refunded a product outside of the time limit issued through the original website without asking for any evidence from the buyer ( i sent them a lot) I can have the card graded myself but by the time i get it back it will be outside my time limit to counter claim.   Any ideas as to what my next step would be? i have messaged the buyer through ebay but they have never got back to me with any information.     ...
