Am I alone in being disappointed with PayPal and the dispute process, I placed an order for an item on-line and paid via PayPal, it turns out I made the mistake of placing an order with a disreputable and deceitful company, my item was very slow arriving so I contacted the seller and did not receive a response, I then started a dispute via PayPal's resolution centre, they contacted the seller, shortly after the seller sent the wrong item which I signed for not knowing what the parcel contained, the seller then responded to PayPal by providing the proof of receipt. Upon opening the parcel I contacted the seller by email, again received no response. I have now tried again to resolve the issue via my PayPal account and the resolution centre, what a disgraceful performance, they have closed my original case on the basis the seller provided the proof of delivery, I cannot re-open the case, I cannot start a new case, I have spent 2 hours going around and around in circles getting nowhere with PayPal, the dispute process only allows me to dispute the transaction amount or a cancelled subscription service, there is no option to dispute the wrong item being sent, I have followed all the links provided that appear to be about wrong items but they only take me back to the amount and subscription options, in desperation I attempted to complete both these processes just to contact PayPal and resolve the dispute, they will not let me do this either. I cannot find an email address for PayPal, I started the message service they offer, I follow the prompts, select the transaction I wish to dispute but just get told I have already started a dispute relating to this transaction and to visit the resolution centre, back to square one. Is this deliberate? Do PayPal not wish to help with disputes regarding wrong or faulty items? Frustrated and annoyed!
