Before we start let me a give a background about myself I've been selling online for about 5 years on eBay and Onbuy So I get woken up to call from PayPal first thing in the morning, it was customer service rep from PayPal asking me why from Black Friday weekend I had so many transactions. The fact that my account is a business account, and especially around this time of the year people are online shopping their limited my account privileges and asked for information like my bank statement, supplier receipts/invoices etc. and an explanation of what I sell, where I sell, and where I source my products from. Now since I've sold on Amazon too I've been through there account reviews and faced a similar problem but it begs the question with PayPal reps if they are thinking about this deeply. I sold a lot of products on the black Friday weekend the biggest RETAIL SHOPPING DAY OF THE YEAR because of discounts and spending more on ads and guess what ? I had a high volume of orders in a short time. It's exhausting the fact that I actually have to send this information when everyone knows sales increase in seasonal products especially those high in demand. So I as a result I've got over £1,000 I can't access during this account review and worst still I have several orders to fulfill which I can't fulfill because PayPal is one of main sources of income. I've had to switch all my listings off while this review is going on and I'm losing money. It's not like I've never had high volume sales before and I don't want to cancel any orders.
