I am having the same problem. I feel like paypal is taking the sellers side. I orders a watch from a seller in China they sent me something that doesn't even come close to what is shown in pictures on my receipt from the seller. So when I asked for my money back I am told I have to ship this "mistake" back to the seller at my expense. The cost to ship back to China is almost as much as what I paid and that I will get refunded. So I did what I was supposed to do, paid for my order and I wait and when the wrong item shows up because of the sellers "mistake" I am the only one who loses. I don't get the item I ordered, and it has now cost me $40 to get a $48 refund of my original payment and I have nothing to show for it. However the seller who made the “mistake“ is made whole, they get the product back at my expense. Where is the buyer protection in this. There is no consequence to the seller who made the mistake, the only punishment goes to the buyer, who paypal is supposed to protect. What is the point of using PayPal if this is the case? Can anyone tell me if there is a way to escalate this decision and have it reviewed as it is not fair.
