Hi! I'm hoping somebody knows how to get around this error. I was gifted a $100 gift card that I entered into PayPal. I've used about half of it without issue, but I want to use the remaining balance on a single charge that would exceed the balance left on the gift card. I would like for the gift card to be depleted and then for the remaining amount owed to roll over to my preferred payment method, which is a regular credit card. I've tried this twice on two separate online shops and have received an error both times. Is there a way to get around this, or am I stuck only finishing the gift card for charges less than the amount left on it? Thanks!
