Recently I had several not pleasant experiences with PAYPAL regarding buyer protection Firstly, you need not just open dispute but 'escalate' in time. If not - you lost! Secondly, misleading instructions from PAYPAL may result in loosing all the money for purchased item (if sent back) as no refund, or partial refund. After almost 2 months of waiting! But the most disappointing - poor customer communication. A robot! Or may be someone reply in few hours, because of bla bla bla Now, if I pay with CC, I would have a person in bank who would listen to me. The bank will refund while dispute is happening. I am seriously thinking to close my account with PAYPAL. They do not help the buyers. Not as bank does!
