My business is called - let's say - X Limited and that name appears in the account's "Business information" page. The account owner is a director of the company - the "contact", I suppose. Let's say that person's name was originally registered a " J Brown" and as a result of the verification checks it was changed to "James Brown". No problem there. So, on the top left of the account screen: X Ltd. On the top left: James Brown. The linked (verified) bank account for withdrawing funds is in the name of X Limited. After the J Brown/James Brown name change, PayPal sent me a message to saythat I may not be able to withdraw funds because: "the name in your PayPal account must exactly match the name your bank has on file." I'm totally at a loss and getting nowhere with PayPal support who don't seem to be understanding this question: "How could a change in the name of the account owner stop a withdrawal of funds by X Ltd to a bank account held by X Ltd". This is so frustrating. I can't risk taking PayPal payments againstthe possibility that customer payments may get stuck in the PayPal account. Can a more experienced member of the community please shed some light on this? Best Caledon
