The seller protection policy states that “PayPal Seller Protection covers you in the event of claims, chargebacks, or reversals that are a result of unauthorized purchases or items your buyer didn’t receive. With PayPal Seller Protection, you may be covered for the full amount of all eligible transactions.“ If a package appears to have been lost by USPS (i.e. item not received), and the buyer initiates a claim, and the seller provides proof of shipment/tracking as outlined in the policy, what does seller protection do for the seller? I definitely would want the buyer to receive a refund for an item not received, but I’m wondering if the seller just eats the loss or if PayPal provides reimbursement as stated in the policy.
