So explain how we loyal sellers are "covered". I had 2 different paypal transactions from one buyer over a 3 day period in March. Was given a "confirmed" address to ship to from a "verified" member so I shipped it to them thru paypal via priority mail with tracking. USPS tracking confirms that it got to that address a few days later. Now, flash forward 4 MONTHS!! I get a notice from paypal that both charges are being disputed by that buyers credit card company and almost $300 is pulled from my PAYPAL account leaving it in the negative. Now, I am not a BIG SELLER by any means and $300 is about what I gross in a week. Now I'm left with NO MONEY to ship items sold, NO MONEY to reinvest in product (I am a reseller) and ebay fees due in a matter of days. How does this happen? What does it say about a MULTI-MILLION dollar company that won't protect it's sellers, especially when they do ALL they are asked/told to do? Why are we paying this company as sellers? The only customer service I got was a foreign operator telling me "our website clearly states our policies on chargebacks". I'm sorry, the only thing that hits me in the face is where you claim you PROTECT YOUR SELLERS all over your website. Why can't paypal at least leave the funds in my account while they spend 75 DAYS supposedly fighting this in my behalf, so I can continue my business and try to make enough money to offset this loss? Better yet, why can't the MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR COMPANY eat $300 worth of charges when they OBVIOUSLY DID NOT DO THEIR JOB in confirming the the address/credit card info? Isn't that what we pay these guys for? They do it because they can. Because the owners of PAYPAL/EBAY are the same and now have made it to where the ONLY way you can accept payments on that site is thru paypal. Anybody want to join me in a class action suit? Do you have similar stories? This isn't the first time this has happened to me in the last 10 years of my relationship with paypal but it is the worst I have been hit, at the worst time in my small business' history. THANKS PAYPAL, YOU GUYS RULE!!
