I thought PayPal's buyer protection would protect me from scammers, and also bought products from a site with apparent veracity that the seller is so confident in their ability to perpetrate their scam that it is still up and still placing fraudulent ads for it on Facebook. As such, a clearly fraudulent seller who has undoubtedly received tons of complaints was treated like an honest broker and I didn't discover otherwise until it was "too late" to cancel my items because they had "already shipped" even though I didn't get a tracking number until weeks later and the items (cheap junk) took five months to reach me. I had a terrible experience and so I decided to write about it. If you want to contribute your experience, please contact me through my website at christinemcondo.com/contact.php.
