Paypal is holding over $800 of my money and there is no way to contact anyone. Now the merchant can't get paid and I can't get my merchandise. And they're taking money non-stop during "Covid" but have shut down customer service. Nice. I'm trying hard to maintain my composure.

My payment won't go through either. Paypal has taken money from my account, and now they are holding it in "pending" status and won't release it to the merchant I paid.

Thanks for the reply. I asked the seller if he would cancel and I'd wire the money directly but he wants to wait for Paypal, probably for Ebay reasons. The chat got me to a chatbot which was no help and I see no phone numbers. I've never had my funds held like this before and it's frustrating. I don't want to do anything to adversely affect the seller since he's done nothing wrong. Thanks again.

I have the same problem and it's been over 24 hours. Now neither I nor the seller have the payment. But Paypal does.

I bought something on EBay, but Paypal won't release the money to the seller. Paypal said it would be 24 hours but there's no countdown and nobody to contact. What can I do? So, I'm not trying to collect money, I'm trying to get it sent. The money has now been pulled from my account, so Paypal has it and is keeping it in limbo. Thank you for any help.
