So I have no PayPal account or record of a PayPal account so keep that in mind and let's go back to the beginning I got an alert for a deposit stating the amount of a deposit and another deposit totaling a small amount no more than $0.20 well I knew right off the bat something was wrong and that someone was trying to use my bank account and Link it to a PayPal account so I decided to create one about an hour ago and submit a message to PayPal customer support and decided while I wait I will try to link the account to my PayPal and in doing so I was met with a message saying that it has the maximum allowed links two PayPal accounts and will not allow me to do so myself so I'm just trying to make myself feel better while I wait for customer service to contact me back and I just need to make sure that my worst fear is correct and that is somehow my routing number and account number have been stolen and someone is trying to link it to steal funds from my bank I haven't had a Paypal since 2005 and I just got this bank account 2 months ago so I think it's very very weird that my information just now got stolen and I've never given out my routing or account number to anyone for anything in the last 2 months I changed my passwords and I will continue to hunt these culprits down before they can even try to steal from me
