I actually had the same problem with the same person, the tracking information from UPS does not have any delivery address. It is obviously a fraud from a fraudulent website that I purchased a new PS4 from at $98.75. The website appeared in my google search shopping as https://www.unitude.pw/pages/6  but now it doesn't exist. I just did another search for a PS4 and found another scam website on google https://vip.moscemrc.com/product/sony-playstation-4-slim-new-1-tb-with-fifa-19-black/  at $149.99, and the website looks exact as the website where I got scammed. Finally received notice that My case is now CLOSED. THEY FOUND IN FAVOR OF THE SELLER!!! I sent Proof several times that the seller defrauded me. Im dealing with the same issue right now.  They admitted the first tracking number was bogus so I had it escalated to a claim.  The seller resent the exact same tracking number information.  Paypal gave them my funds.  As far as Im concerned they are just as responsible for the scam.  I am contacting the better business bureau, and an attorney.  Also contacting united states postal service Paypal is allowing these scammers to use false tracking numbers(there is no doubt there fake, my tracking number was for a package delivered 6/16/2020,  my first transaction with company when I tried to buy some thing 6/28/2020) Im sure the federal post office will have a dim view of this since it is federal fraud. ... @Lozd170    I can only advise on how paypal works and the options available can't I? I can't provide proof of anything anymore than you can HOWEVER if you read through a lot of the threads folks have posted that they got their refunds in the end even if they had to jump through a few hoops to do so. But hey if you can provide proof of folks getting their money back then feel free to do so if you have a magic hotline to customer services that no one else does. This is the problem once PayPal has closed your dispute it is impossible to open another dispute the system does not allow you too repeat does not allow you too so once the scam website has told PayPal a load of bollocks like non existentent shipping number they stupidly close your dispute .Have been all over this forum and lots of customers have same problem which PayPal do nothing about SORT IT OUT PAYPAL YOU ARE Complicit in providing scam websites a PayPal banner to hide behind .know to you understand my case have sent over 20 emails to PayPal no solution to been ripped off.
