Both the merchant (hotwire.com) and I (the customer) have requested that PayPal cancel a pending transaction be canceled, but PayPal refuses to do so. I am unable to reach PayPal support via phone, so in the message center they keep telling me that they status will stay as pending for 30 days unless the merchant cancels the transaction. But the merchant has already done so, which I have told PayPal multiple times, but they just keep sending the same information back, apparently without 3ver bothering to read my messages at all. How can I either get this resolved or at least speak to customer service at PayPal? This has been going on for almost 2 weeks already.
