I'm wondering what's up with Paypal. I've never had an issue with Paypal not helping me to either receive items I paid for or getting me a refund for not receiving it. Recently, I bought hand sanitizer (yes, I'm an idiot) for my family because my daughter and granddaughter have a disease that's extremely susceptible to viruses. My daughter got the flu at the age of four and was hospitalized. It turned into encephalitis and she almost died. After two months she was released into a rehabilitation center where she stayed another two months while they re-taught her how to feed herself and learn to balance herself so she could walk again. It gave her permanent brain damage. The point is.. COVID-19 will kill her and my granddaughter. I bought hand sanitizer online ($40) and have never received it. I reported it to Paypal and they said to first, try to resolve it with the seller. I tried to resolve it with the seller but received no response. The email they gave me was a mailer-damen and the phone number said I could not connect. I filed a claim and Pay pal denied me. I quoted the Paypal buyer protection promise below.
