Hi everybody, I purchased a laptop from eBay in November which I paid for via PayPal credit over 24 months. The seller refunded the item before it was even sent, so I purchased another one from a different seller using the same payment option. Both items appear in my PayPal activity, and the refund for the first item is displayed correctly. I also have three separate transactions on my account, which I opted to use the promotional offer of 0% interest if paid off in full before 4 months. I have just checked my PayPal statement and it shows that I still have the original laptop on there, as well as the second and the direct debit roughly comes to the cost of both. I checked my transactions and it shows the original and the second laptop have 23 out of 24 instalments left to pay. My other three transactions (4 months at 0%) have had nothing paid off them yet so are still the full amounts. I have spoken with a lovely advisor over the phone, he states that the 0% over 4 months offers have all been canceled because of the refund of the first laptop. He said that they will now be added to the same payment plan (24 months) as the laptop was because it is most cost effective for me and the refund totalled more than the cost of these three 0% transactions. He explained that everything added up and was showing correctly on his side, but I should check my statement next month as the laptop will have gone and the three other items will be in its place. I asked him to clarify; does this mean that I do not have to pay the entire cost of the three 0% items by March (their due date before interest kicks in). He said this is right. Does this sound correct? I don't want to forget about these three transactions and have loads of interest added because of this. I hope this makes sense and somebody can help me! Thanks
