can anyone help - i ordered airpods for my sons christmas present on the 5th of December from a site Tecobuy UK- they claimed the goods would be with me within 5-10 business days- I went with them because it seemed they were a Uk site- I started to get a bit anxious when I didnt receive a dispatch notice and subsequently read bad reviews on the site which is actually based in Hong Kong. After finally receiving tracking info I realised that the airpods werent going to be here in time so purchased another pair, the airpods eventually arrived on the 31st of December I never even opened the cellophane on the box and proceeded to action a refund with Tecobuy and I sent the airpods back on the 9th of Jan via a tracked service at a cost of £10.55. They were received on the 16th of Jan by Tecobuy who stated that following an inspection by the engineer they would issue a refund. Tecobuy emailed today to say they would not be issuing a refund because the charger case has a scratch and fails their money back guarantee- this from a package that never had the cellophane packaging removed- I took photos of the airpod box before I sent them back which clearly shows the cellophane intact- I have tried to open a dispute with paypal but cant seem to get anywhere because there isnt a category which covers my problem- I am currently waiting on a paypal agent to get back to me since 10 am this morning
