@kernowlass   you could be 100% right that option could only be available if Paypal has partnered up with Australia Banks I forget that other people from different nation are here thx for clarifying that LOL.   that has to be frustrating I am so Lucky!! to have the option because I did Link up one of my Banks with Paypal & I was furious I did not like it since I'm old school & want to still use ATM's from time to time LOL. @Joeyleedoidge   I have a better solution for you next time in fact do it (TODAY) call an agent from (Paypal) & get a (Paypal BANK CARD) & all your problems will go away & never have to do your crazy process ever again & use your Bank? for when you have Real Bills to pay like Car, or Rent. your doing things the Hard way kid   Right now I can go to the (ATM) I can take money out or go to the store & load in more money into Paypal & I don't have to worry about getting (CASH) out why? because I can do BOTH & not have to figure out when is the BANK that I linked to my Paypal going to have the Cash that is a HEADACHE your doing it the hard way kid😂 ... @aylaaktan   that is indeed very (INTERESTING) ok this is how it works so you will feel better Step by Step to how I did it at least to what I could remember don't be paranoid of your picture (ID) if they want it it's ok to give (Paypal) your License Picture the whole card because they are a (BANK) I'm old fashion so I will help you with the steps. take a picture of your License but (NOT) on your phone use something different like a Camera if you don't feel like your License or ID will be protected on your Device that's what I do.   2nd use a computer at home with your secure internet if you have one or family or friends house have your (SSN) & your (LICENSE/ID) be PREPARED I always tell my kids that. LOL    the interesting part is that your (SSN) did not Match your Paypal (SSN) find out if anyone in your family or friends someone (SHADY) or look for your phone device maybe someone has your (PICTURE) your License information & used a (SSN) that is not yours but manage to use your face & there own SSN & it's working for them.   that's Dangerous they can leave you a mountain of debt & vanished without a trace because if your License/ID is being Used make sure that Paypal notifies the Authorities of a SSN that is not yours safe Guard yourself ASAP because this can fall on YOU since your the owner of the accnt.   so don't worry take these steps 1st   #1 Take a Picture of your License/ID #2 your SSN #3 have a computer handy #4 pick up the phone again & Contact the Agent like you did the 1st time.   the Agent should have the ability to do a (Hard Reset)witch will Remove those last 4 digits of that SSN that don't match with yours witch is very ODD. & make sure you have your SSN & License/ID in handy & in a computer use it separate from your phone so you can talk to the Agent. & while your with the Agent? also talk about getting a (Paypal Bank Card) it works like a Prepaid Bank Card & can't be overdrawn & you don't get a monthly maintenance fee $4.99 that's what I have.   don't be scared of Paypal having your (License & SSN) it's just like your LOCAL BANK I'm very Old School I grew up with before cellphones were invented & was around black & white tv & streets had Payphones LOL. @Gulnara75   if you got an item that was listed as (New) but it came Used? did you take pictures? did you keep the pictures? do you have the email conversation? did you call them & spoke? instead? did you get an agreement for a Refund before returning the item? for one you should never Hope that the seller sends you your money back.   if you have proof of everything than Paypal will help lock the sellers account & get your money back right away. but if you spoke to the seller in a phone call? that's (NOT GOOD) words mean NOTHING the seller can only give you the refund if he says it's a refund in (WRITING)    I hope that Helps friend & hope you get your money back very soon. 10 days is too long. you also have to understand their (return Policy) before you buy anywhere you have to make sure they are (GOOD SELLERS) Honest SELLERS. ... @Rintownn   You should start to look for the information by starting out with the Game company your trying to buy the VIP from they might be having a Glitch on there end.   & #2  check if you have money in your Paypal account 😂 & have you purchased Game stuff with your Paypal before? make sure that the Game company accepts Paypal maybe they don't. another cool trick I know is if you had called Paypal & asked them to give you a (Paypal Bank Card) you could have gone with PlanB & used a (Paypal Bank card) witch will get the funds out of your (Paypal Balance) I'm thinking your Game company is having trouble retrieving the money from your (paypal Balance) that's why I have a (Paypal Bank Card) because I'm still Old FASHION I like my money in Cash $$ so I'm glad I called them & they helped me get a Bank Card in case I want to go to an ATM & get my money & not have it in a computer Bank where you can't get to it.   don't be Fancy be like me & still have money under the mattress so the wife don't get it when she uses my Paypal or my other Bank cards that I can't stop her but my Mattress & Real cash nobody can take that away from me LOL.   keep me posted see how it went pal ... I have done the Drivers License & SSN confirmation with Paypal but that was in the beginning of when I opened up an account with them. do you have a Bank Link with them like a Bank card of yours?  it's a good thing that I have read the Paypal Policies so I can only help you with what I know.   for #1 Paypal does not ask for your personal information in an Email it could be there's but you should be very cautious with Emails I never respond to Emails directly unless I know I have sent Paypal the confirmation or anything else that I know I sent out to them.   so if you have tell me a little more so I can Help you with an answer (FAST)   #1 Bank card? did you Link it with Paypal? if you don't have a Bank Card I got a really good solution for you that will keep you safe guarded & it's a Paypal Bank Card a lot of people just have Paypal Balance by itself (DON'T DO THAT)  #2 & this step don't Link your Bank card of a Different Name Bank with Paypal (DON'T DO THAT) I say don't because sometimes you might want to keep your one money on a different table for Bills, Rent, car $$ & the other? should just be PAYPAL ALONE that way you can do EBAY send money to friends or family without confusing your (Traditional Bank) I don't mix all my bills in the same pot that's a NO NO.   so my advice to you is? don't respond to that (EMAIL) don't give out your (LICENSE) call an AGENT from the REAL PAYPAL SITE go to Contact & find there phone number & asked about an Email they have sent if they say yes? than go ahead & (CONFIRM) don't jump to every email you see I use to be a Business Owner so I learned a lot about what not to do. the only way you might know if Paypal sent you an (Email) is by Logging in your own Paypal & check for the (NOTIFICATION) in your account don't log in to your account directly from an Email that could be fake & already jeopardized your Money $$ by a thief.   Hope that Helps if you have anymore Questions? use a regular computer & go on Paypal site & contacts & phone number will be in it somewhere there you can call an Agent. I'm old Fashion I don't like phone or Apps if you don't have a computer? find a family member or friend that does just keep in mind don't get use to the app all the time once in a while you should use a Desktop & use a real website that's how Paypal started.   I only use the App for when I'm at the store & need to make a deposit other than that? I hate Apps. if you speak to an agent? you can tell them everything they need to know but at the same time try to find the Paypal Email that way you can start out with proof.   if you are having trouble with Ebay you don't go to paypal 1st go to Ebay 1st that's how you start a claim & they will get you the money than they usually tell you to work something out with the seller or go with Plan B witch is Paypal & call them after you submit to them an Email so when you talk to them? they can see what you are saying because (WORD of MOUTH) ? means nothing at least not to me. show the Proof of whatever your  innocent of. ... are you using Paypal to Paypal if your friend has money in his Paypal it should have gone to you fast. double check with your friend maybe he never sent it. & if he's using a Linked Bank account it could be that Paypal will most likely trying to see if your friend has money.    I'm thinking your friend is pulling your leg & did not send any money at all Hope that helps.😂 ... if you don't know your other email? you need to contact Paypal & cancel that Paypal Mastercard & get a New one with the Email you have now. they might be able to do what I call a Hard Reset so your old email & the Bank Card & your information get's wiped clean & than your able to open up a New account with your current Email & don't make the same mistake but that is a maybe. it's up to Paypal not sure how they go about your problem.   if you don't have that Paypal Bank Card physically in front of you? than you need to call them & let them know what happened you have to contact them directly & you have to know the information that only you know & they should be able to help you.    you should always Treat Paypal like a Local Bank don't play with your Bank card don't lose it don't forget your Emails that is like losing your Bank Routing number & someone else finds it they can spend all your money.
