Hi @CindyToo!   That is a wonderful question. Thanks for bringing it to the PayPal Community Help Forum. 🙂   The names displayed in the drop down when sending money on the PayPal website are all the names of customers that you have sent money to previously. This list can include the names of payments sent through a check-out process. I do apologize as there is not an option to clear the names in this section. That is great feedback. Hi @Aklautoi,   That is correct. Once the PayPal account is closed, you will have an opportunity to create a new PayPal account using the same email address. We highly recommend keeping the account open if you are going to use the same email address and just updating the information. This will allow you to keep all of the previous information and records. Hi @azvariety!   Welcome to the PayPal Community Help Forum! Thanks for posting.   That's a great question. 🙂 There is an opportunity to change the business name on a PayPal account. However, there is not an opportunity to delete it. You may update the business name to your personal name if you would like the account to remain a business account. Hi @kclapper03,   Thanks for posting on the PayPal Community Help Forum.   I understand that you have received a text message stating that a payment has been received, but the funds are not showing up in your PayPal account. It sounds like your friend may have sent the payment directly to your phone number. If so, you will need to ensure your phone number is linked and confirmed in your PayPal account.   Log into PayPal and click the gear at the top right corner next to Log Out to access your profile. If the phone number is not displayed, you may click the plus sign (+) next to Phone to add the number. There will be a Confirm button next to the phone number. PayPal will send a text message with a confirmation code to complete confirmation.   Once the phone number has been confirmed, all payments sent to the phone number should be received to the PayPal account within 24 hours.   I hope you find this information helpful! 🙂   - Krystin ... Hi @curve,   Thanks for reaching out. I'm happy to help! 🙂   Payment notifications for payments received are sent to the email address that has received the payment. There is an option to have the notifications for payments received forwarded to the email address desired. This can be set up directly in the email account that has received the payment notification. The sender of the payment will need to send the payments to primary email address on PayPal for the notification email to be sent to the primary email address. I'm happy to help!   Payments refunded to PayPal Credit can take 3-5 business days to process to a PayPal Credit account that is linked to the PayPal account. Hi @danhutchins!   Welcome to the PayPal Community Help Forum! 🙂 You have a great question.   The email address needed is the same email that registered when creating the PayPal account. There is no PayPal specific email address that is provided. In order to receive money, the email address used to create the account will need to be confirmed. Welcome @jobperry123! 🙂   Thanks for posting in the PayPal Community Help Forum.   The status "unclaimed" usually means that the email address the payment was sent is not confirmed or the account is not fully verified. Please log into PayPal and click on the gear at the top right corner of the page to access the profile. Select the Edit button next to the name and choose the appropriate option.
