If an account were limited, it would be for one of three reasons: we believe a third party may have accessed the account; we are looking for more information about the account usage; or the account activity could represent a violation of PayPal's terms of service. In either case, any information we need to resolve the limitation and restore account access would have been sent via email and should also be available in the Resolution Center.
The time it takes to resolve an account limitation will always depend on the complexity of your specific case. However, we will be sure to update you accordingly.
