Shopify ordre IDs in PayPal invoice ID

I wonder why my order IDs in Shopify get the suffix “.2” in PayPal. All my Shopify orders are named: DEXXXX (e.g DE4185) and the same order is called Invoice ID: DEXXXX.2 (e.g DE4185.2) in PayPal.
All order IDs are unique so I can't understand where the .2 gets added. This is ruining my ability to automate the posting afterward. 

Do anyone have a fix?
