A little background info: I have a US-based PayPal account and a US-based eBay account. However, I am currently living in South Korea. I bought an item on eBay and asked for it to be shipped to a friend in Texas. The friend's address is listed as "Alternate (unconfirmed)" with PayPal and "Primary shipping" with eBay. Everything I look at (eBay transaction details, PayPal transaction details, the confirmation e-mail I got from PayPal) has the Texas address on record. The seller is telling me that their account shows a (most likely invalid) address in South Korea and that they can't ship anywhere else or they lose seller protection. What could be causing the different address to show up? Neither my eBay nor my PayPal account even HAS any Korean addresses associated with it, although they have in the past. Is there any way to get my stuff shipped where I want/where my records say it's going?
