Holding funds from sellers until the buyer leaves feedback is the worst idea EVER! Since when does Paypal become an authority on buyer satisfaction?? A smooth transaction is all that I wanted from Paypal. If they are going to hold funds, then they should make it very clear BEFORE you use them! Keeping my money in their account for 21 days is a HUGE disadvantage of using Paypal. Stick to transferring funds, not trying to be a satisfaction authority!

If enough of us come together we should be able to get this taken care of! I just spent 2 hours trying to spend MY money. Do you know what Pay Pal told me? If I do not have a checking account or one of their credit cards I can not spend my money. OH but they will send me a check in 7-10 business days AND charge ME the $1.50 processing fee for the privilege of getting MY money. I added the credit card, at a $1 charge, that was asked of me, but since I have spent $10,000.00 over the last 5 years they want a checking account. NOW I need to "verify" I am who I say I am.. What a load of $**t. I suggest we class action sue them to set this right. If you agree e-mail me at Ccoastalson at aol.com. I have an attorney who, with enough people, will take this case on.

Thanks for your efforts--read two posts above and you will see my post about this same thing.
A month ago a major class action was filed against PayPal on behalf of the sellers who were injured as a result of PayPal's TOD and User Agreement. The law firm is still adding names to the suit. Go to letssuepaypal dot com for the complete information and to read the bill of Complaint that has been filed. Call the number if you wish to be included. It has gained press already and many of us try to keep posting this information--pass it on.

I agree 1000% this 21 day garbage is so very wrong but if there is a dispute and a buyer is wanting money back it does release that as it will release any monies for buying/printing shipping labels

Count me in if this goes Class Action. They have absolutely no right to hold funds, nor keep the interest accrued on those funds they are holding. eBay and PayPal already rape people with their fees.
I've been using eBay for years, and now since it has been a year since my last sale they decide to hold MY money????
And that's just it. It's MY money, not THEIR money! Including the interest!
They were certainly quick to deduct the paypal fees, though.
I will not be paying my eBay fees on my auction until the money is released to me. If I have to wait, so do they. It has an expired and closed card on file, so they can try all they like to get it.
